We here in TV are excited for a new year of films and competitions. Hillside TV has won over 20 awards in the past 13 years and we hope to keep the number of trophies rising!
TV production gives the students the chance to write, film, edit and act in films they have created. Students will be sharpening their skills in film technology to create their masterpieces.

OUR CLASSES
TV1- This is an introduction to TV Production. Students in grades 9-12 will learn script writing, broadcast techniques and basic filming and editing to create their own news shows.
CURRENT PROJECT: Commercials
TV2- These students will strengthen their skills in pre and post production. By learning more advanced filming and editing techniques they will create short films, music videos, commercials and PSAs.
CURRENT PROJECT: Kent Place Film Festival
TV3- This advanced course will create longer films and submit to contest. They will be incharge of creating content for the Hillside YouTube page as well.

NJHS Film Challenge is May 15, 2020 in Jackson, NJ.
Students are ready to receive their film promps on April 16th.
